Online-Training on Integrated Low Carbon Management in the MSW Industry was held online on April 20th to April 22nd, 2022.

From April 20th to April 22nd, 2022, the second Carbon Management Training on “Integrated Low Carbon Management in the MSW Industry under the Carbon Neutral and Carbon Peaking Goals” jointly organized by CAUES, GIZ and SCET (SinoCarbon Education & Training Co., Ltd) was successfully held online (due to Covid-19).

The training covers contribution, transformation and low-carbon development of the waste sector against the background of the Dual-Carbon Target such as: Policy System and Realization Path of Dual-Carbon Target, Carbon Trading Mechanism, construction of China’s carbon market, Carbon Asset Management for Enterprises, Integrated management of MSW, Green Finance Development and Carbon Finance Practice etc. About 30 representatives from the five pilot cities, CAUES and GIZ who involved in designing, planning and execution of MSW management participated in the training.

Up to now, the NAMA project has successfully held two sessions of Carbon Management Training, with more than 60 trainees receiving the “Carbon Manager” certificate.
