On October 14, the final show of the 2022 RISE UP Sustainable Fashion Design Challenge was held in Shanghai, hosted by R.I.S.E Sustainable Fashion Lab and co-organized by the IWM NAMA project team of GIZ. The top three fashion designers who won the finalist award presented their work at the show – thirty sets of diverse and sustainably designed outfits. For half a month after the show, the venue continued its sustainable fashion exhibition with the theme of “Design for Nature“, allowing consumers to have a close look at innovative sustainable materials and guiding participation in responsible and sustainable consumption.

It was jointly issued by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and other five departments on July 18, 2023
More than 150 representatives attended the meeting, and a total of 41,000 people participated the event online.
The project website will be handed over to the project partner China Association of Urban Environmental Sanitation (CAUES) for maintenance
