In 2022, 7 billion RMB will be invested from the central budget to support construction projects for sewage management, urban MSW classification and treatment, disposal of hazardous waste, seawater desalination, and other projects in parks, etc. In accordance with the Chinese principles of “one money for two purposes” and “one money for multiple purposes”, the budget will support a strategic regional development in key areas such as the Yangtze River economic belt and the Yellow River Basin.
The NDRC will supervise the projects in scheduling and conduct inspection work and guide relevant regions to implement these projects to build beautiful China.
