On July 14, the Leading group office of carbon peak, carbon neutrality met to discuss the work progress in the first half of 2022 and the key tasks in the second half of the year.

The meeting pointed out that the “1+N” policy system of carbon peak and carbon neutrality has been basically established in the first half of 2022. In the second half of 2022, the following key work should be done:

• Continue optimizing the “1+N” policy system for carbon peak and carbon neutrality, accelerate the introduction and implementation of relevant policy documents.
• Improve the internal processes in terms of time management, supervision and allocation of responsibilities and tasks
• Conduct background research on the current situation and new trends in the field of “dual carbon goals” for the purposes of development of new policies
• Guide the public and actively respond to the concerns of residents and companies, create a good atmosphere for jointly promoting the “dual carbon” goals in the whole society.

Regularly summarize good practices and lessons learned in promoting the work related to the “dual carbon” goals in various regions and industries. Furthermore, disseminate the knowledge, apply and replicate the good experiences and practices.
